NHS Bolton - your primary care trust

NHS Bolton is the brand name for Bolton Teaching Primary Care Trust, also known as Bolton PCT.  In this section of the website, you'll find information about the organisation, who runs it, how it works and how well it performs.  You can view agendas and reports from our Board meetings, and meetings of our Professional Executive Comittee. 

We will include recent news and developments, and there's some essential information about how to get in touch or get involved - for example if we are consulting on new developments.

We also use this section of the website to provide information about our commitment to equality and diversity, and how we deliver this.

If there's information about the organisation that you want, but can't find on the website you can request it under the Freedom of Information Act.

Increasingly, the provider services element of NHS Bolton is operating as a self-contained organisation, with its own strong internal governance.  However, it still remains part of the primary care trust.
