A range of events is taking place in Bolton next week to mark World Mental Health Day, which is on Monday, October 10.

On Monday (10/10), a ‘Feelgood with reading’ event will take place between 2pm and 3.30pm at Bolton Museum.  Members of the public are invited to bring their favourite books for this group reading and relaxation session. Tickets are available only in advance by calling 01204 332211.

A ‘Noodle Doodle’ event will take place at The Market Place from Tuesday to Thursday between 10am and 3pm.

Visitors to this free creative event will create a small head with their own idea of happiness and add it to an exhibition of more than 600 heads decorated by people from Bolton.

A ‘Craft at lunchtime’ event will also take place on Tuesday (11/10), between 1pm and 2pm, at Bolton Central Library. The event involves a relaxing crafty lunch hour with like minded people. Visitors are encouraged to bring along their own craft projects.

A ‘Feelgood session’ will give people special guided relaxation at Bolton Aquarium on Thursday (13/10) from 5pm to 5.30pm.

Also happening next week will be an ‘Art fantastic and writing project’, which will take place on Friday (14/10), between 10am and 2pm. The drop-in session is based at St Augustine’s Church on Thicketford Road.  For more information, call 01204 546070.
