NHS Bolton commissions services for people with cancer from a range of providers. Our nearest specialist cancer hospital is The Christie.
We aim to make sure that people are cared for at home or locally whenever possible, and receive specialist care whenever required. Many of our own staff care for people with cancer in their own homes.
Everyone who is referred for investigations with suspected cancer should be seen within two weeks. Once a diagnosis is made, treatment should start within a month.
