Tissue Viability Services 

Who we are

The Tissue Vialbilty team works across Bolton PCT and Bolton Hospital supporting patients, carers and healthcare professionals in all aspects of tissue viability.

 

 

How the Team works

The overall aim of our service is to advise, educate and support the delivery of seamless evidence based wound management throughout Bolton.

 

 

What do we offer?

The treatment programmes involve:

 

• Expert advice on complex and chronic wound management.
• Teaching sessions on prevention and management of Tissue Damage.

 

Support to Professionals

The Tissue Viability Team also offers support and training for Health Care Professionals who work with patients who are at risk or have complex or chronic wounds.

How to access the service

The Tissue viability service is accessible 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
